To manufacture durable plywood sheets for packaging, it's crucial to use high-quality materials, advanced technology, and adhere to strict manufacturing processes.
Here's the manufacturing process at HG Plywood factory:
1. Timber Peeling:
The wood is stripped of bark and cut into pieces of required lengths. For plywood sized 4x8ft (1220mmx2440mm), the wood is cut to 1270mm lengths. Then, it's processed through a veneer peeling machine to create veneer layers with thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 2mm.
2. Material Drying:
Before further processing, the raw timber is dried.
3. Veneer Arrangement and Gluing:
Veneer layers are carefully glued and stacked perpendicular to each other to enhance structural integrity. Depending on the desired thickness of the plywood sheet, craftsmen arrange the veneer layers meticulously.
4. Heat Pressing:
Once glued and stacked, the plywood sheets undergo heat pressing using a hydraulic machine.
5. Cutting
The sheets are cut to standard dimensions or customized to meet customer requirements.
6. Quality Inspection and Packaging:
Plywood sheets meeting strict quality standards undergo thorough packaging before being shipped to customers.
